Nationally Board Certified Wellness Coach, Integral Sound Practitioner, Stone Medicine Practitioner, and Ceremonialist
Hello! I'm Kathryn Rowan. I'm a Holistic Contemplative Healing Arts Professional passionate about weaving today's modern Lifestyle Medicine with ancient Ancestral Healing to achieve optimal health and well-being.
My life's work is influenced by my childhood spent running through fields of bluebells and forests of mossy rocks and standing stones in the UK, exploring the ancient lands my ancestors once walked. Since then, I've been studying the music, plants, earth-based traditions, mythology, and healing arts of the land I call 'home', the North. My ancestry is that of the Northern lands of Scotland, England, and Norway and I honor my ancestors by living a life of "re-membering and re-claiming" our ancient ways. While I have multiple degrees in Health Promotion, Nutrition, and Dual-Sensory loss and Communication, if I could do it all again I would start where my heart is most happy - Ancestral Nutrition and Medical Anthropology... (Is that even a degree path? There were no degrees like this available when I went to college!). I've spent my lifetime seeking ways to learn the ways of our ancestors and in learning more about the healing practices of my Ancestors, I found my path from chronic stress and chronic pain to my True North... my purpose, passion for my work, and a body that doesn't carry physical pain anymore. I will walk with you to find your True North, that place within you that orients you to your Self and restored health.

As a nationally board-certified health coach, I am an expert in human behavior, the science of motivation, and personalized health. I help clients improve their health and well-being through behavior change and lifestyle modifications. I work with clients to identify health goals, create a bespoke action plan, and provide support and guidance throughout the process of making sustainable changes. My approach is holistic and unique, focusing on stress management and the spiritual nature of disease, while also addressing underlying social, spiritual, and psychological issues that may impact overall well-being. I do not prescribe or diagnose. I collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for you.

As a certified integral sound practitioner, I have undergone specialized training in using sound as a therapeutic tool to promote optimal well-being. I facilitate unique experiences that integrate sound healing techniques with other modalities, such as movement, meditation, breathwork, and visualization to optimize the beneficial effects of the frequencies and sounds. I am dedicated to creating safe and supportive spaces for you to explore your health through a multi-modal approach that I call Purposeful Pausing.

As a Certified Stone Medicine Practitioner, I weave the ancient arts of Traditional Stone Medicine into my daily life and work. Through the safe application of stone elixirs, both on and off-body treatments, home and land stone grids, and other ways that rocks, mineral compositions, and gemstones have been used throughout time, I customize my sessions with you to bring in the stones and modalities that are most supportive for you.

As a Ceremonialist, I draw on my extensive training and experience to create and lead ceremonies. I believe in empowering my clients to take an active role in their healing, which is why I guide and encourage personal rituals and ceremonies inspired by the ancient ways of the North. Rituals and ceremonies are powerful tools for personal growth and transformation.
My approach to health is informed by my background as a Certified Birth and Death Doula, Ordained Clergy, a graduate of WHISPER Sacred Mystery School for Women, and a student of the Northern Gateway and Magin Rose, both based in my homeland of England. I use earth-based, nature-inspired rituals, ceremonies, music, and daily practices to find meaning in life's mysteries and support through life's transitions. Whether it's through honoring the arrival of a new life, officiating a commitment handfasting ceremony or legal wedding, saying goodbye to a loved one and processing grief, planning and preparing for your own death, or simply finding deeper connection in living everyday life.

Let's walk together and sing the songs of our ancestors by honoring the wisdom that we inherit from them. We each carry tales of bravery, resiliency, and connection to the natural rhythms of the earth in our very blood and bones. Let's dance that wisdom into healing.
